Mavs Earn Confident Road Win
The Dallas Mavericks defeated the host Orlando Magic, 122-106, at Amway Center on Friday evening.

The Mavs got out to a great start on the road, with a 34-18 lead after one quarter. The Magic picked it up in the second quarter and managed to trim it to a 12-point game by halftime. They carried the momentum into the third, where they rallied to take a one-point lead mid way through the quarter. However, the Mavericks responded and regained a seven-point lead heading into the final frame. They kept pushing and took a double-digit lead, which they held the rest of the way, to close out their second straight win.

Luka Doncic led the Mavericks with 33 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, a steal and a block, in 34 minutes. Maxi Kleber tallied 26 points, three rebounds and a block, while Kristaps Porzingis added 24 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and five blocks. The Mavs shot 51 percent from the field, including 15-of-38 from long range.

Meanwhile, Evan Fournier led the Magic with 28 points on 10-of-19 shooting, in 33 minutes. Nikola Vucevic finished with 27 points, 12 rebounds and four steals, while Aaron Gordon tallied 10 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists, two steals and a block. The Magic shot 39 percent from the field, including 9-of-43 from long range.

The Magic (24-32) will look to bounce back as they take on the Nets at Barclays Center on Monday. The Mavericks (34-22) take on the Hawks in Atlanta on Saturday.
