Pacers Seal Second Straight Win
The Indiana Pacers defeated the host New York Knicks, 106-98, at Madison Square Garden on Friday evening.

The Knicks got out to a good start at home and held a 20-15 lead after one quarter. The Pacers responded in the second and outscored the hosts by 12 points in the quarter, to take a seven-point lead by halftime. They carried the momentum into the third and pushed ahead to a 22-point lead late in the quarter, before the Knicks cut it to a 15-point game to start the final frame. The Knicks kept up the fight and cut it to a four-point game with 23 seconds left, but the Pacers came up clutch at the foul line to seal their second straight win.

T.J. Warren led the Pacers with 27 points, eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block, in 36 minutes. Domantas Sabonis added 24 points, 13 rebound, three assists, a steal and a block, while Malcolm Brogdon tallied 11 points, eight rebounds, six assists and a steal. The Pacers shot 41 percent from the field, including 8-of-28 from long range.

Meanwhile, Bobby Portis led the Knicks with 19 points, six rebounds and a block, in 28 minutes off the bench. R.J. Barrett followed up with 17 points, four rebounds and two assists, while Frank Ntilikina added 14 points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals. The Knicks shot 43 percent from the field, including 11-of-25 from long range.

The Knicks (17-39) look to bounce back as they take on the Rockets in Houston on Monday. The Pacers (33-23) take on the Raptors in Toronto on Sunday.
