DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

For Tuesday night's slate, we have a pair Game 5s that will put two teams in the driver's seat as the Conference Finals loom. In the Eastern Conference, the Raptors will look to string together back-to-back wins for the first time in this series, while out West, the Blazers will look to wrestle back control after faltering at home in Game 4.

Here are the top DraftKings values to consider on Tuesday's slate:

GUARDS

Jamal Murray, DEN vs. POR ($6,500): Inconsistency is usually what's killed Murray throughout his career but the fact that he has at least 28 DK points in 18 of his last 20 games shows that he's found a stable floor of late. Murray is averaging 36 DK points per game in that span, and that number jumps to 41 fantasy points per game in this series. That's 6X value at this price, and he'll likely continue to log heavy minutes as Mike Malone tightens up his backcourt rotation.

J.J. Redick, PHI at TOR ($4,500): Redick hasn't given us much reason to use him in the postseason but he has too much upside to be this cheap. Even has his production has waned, his role really hasn't changed, with Redick averaging 32.3 minutes and 11 shots per game across his last seven fixtures. That's not far off from his season-long averages, which he was able to translate to 27 DK points per game. The hope is that Redick's hot shooting -- 61 percent from the field over the last two games -- may be the start of a hot streak.

Will Barton, DEN vs. POR ($4,000): Barton drove season-long fantasy owners crazy in the regular season and he's carried that into the postseason. Over his last three games, Barton is averaging 31 DK points per outing. That followed up a three-game stretch during which Barton was averaging just 10 fantasy points per game. Barton is a streaky player, but tonight I'm willing to bank on his more-recent form. He's only priced at $4,000, which limits the risk, as some players in this price range don't even get off the bench, let alone play 30 minutes and be one of the team leaders in shot attempts and usage rate.

FORWARDS

Kawhi Leonard, TOR vs. PHI ($9,500): How can you possibly fade this guy right now. Leonard has been right there with Kevin Durant as arguably the best individual player in these playoffs, and he's taken on even more responsibility in Round 2, averaging 40 minutes and 22.3 shots per game in the series. That's led to 55 DK points per game through four games, which isn't far off from his 48-DK-point average over the entire postseason.

Al-Farouq Aminu, POR at DEN ($4,700): For some reason, Aminu always plays better in the postseason. He has at least 27 DK points in three straight games, while averaging 25.3 fantasy points per game in the playoffs. The loss of Jusuf Nurkic has only added to his value, with Aminu averaging 33 minutes and nearly 10 shots per game across his last six fixtures. That's about all you can ask for from a $4,700 player.

Serge Ibaka, TOR vs. PHI ($3,900): Ibaka's 32 minutes in Game 4 are hopefully a sign of things to come. While he's earned this low price tag with his recent play, 30 DK points in those 32 minutes shows the sort of upside the veteran presents. Ibaka actually averaged 29.5 DK points per game across 26.3 minutes of action in the regular season, and that alone makes him worth a shot at a sub-$4,000 tag. All he needs is 19 DK points to provide 5X value, and he's reached that total in 14 of his last 16 games.

CENTERS

Nikola Jokic, DEN vs. POR ($10,500): Jokic is in the same boat as Leonard in that it's difficult to fade him given the way he's playing. Over his last six games, Jokic is averaging 28.5 points, 13.3 rebounds, 9.5 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.3 blocks en route to 65 DK points per game.

Marc Gasol, TOR vs. PHI ($5,000): Gasol's production hasn't been anything special, but the fact that he played 39 minutes in the most recent game makes him difficult to overlook at this price. It's clear the Raptors want him playing big minutes, and Nick Nurse was more willing to pair Gasol with Serge Ibaka in Game 4 -- something the Raptors hadn't done much of since acquiring Gasol at the deadline. With Gasol scoring at least 24 DK points in three straight games, and averaging 34.3 minutes per game in that span, he offers a reliable floor at $5,000.
