Suffers concussion in loss
MAdelaide Crows
Concussion
June 1, 2021
Berry suffered a concussion in the Round 11 loss to Richmond, according to his club's medical report.
ANALYSIS
Berry is probably out for at least Round 12 while in the AFL's 12-day concussion protocol. His return by Round 13 against St Kilda will be cutting it close, so a couple weeks without footy seems possible as well. He has yet to score more than 67 points in a game this season and doesn't offer much fantasy value when fully fit.
Listed as interchange
MAdelaide Crows
April 30, 2021
Berry (ankle) will slot in as an interchange for Saturday's match versus GWS, James Hetherington of the Crows' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Berry rejoined training earlier in the week and was listed as a test leading up to the contest. In the end, he will miss just one match because of the ankle issue but his value may not be off the charts given that he's returning as a sub rather than a starter.

April 27, 2021
Berry (ankle) has returned to training and will be a test for Saturday's Round 7 matchup with GWS, according to head of football Adam Kelly. "Sam (Berry) has progressed well but will require further assessment throughout the week to determine his availability."
ANALYSIS
Berry wasn't able to play in the Round 6 loss to Hawthorn after rolling his ankle late in the week but has a better chance of playing this coming weekend. He has yet to record more than 13 disposals in a match, though Berry has also logged as many as 10 tackles in a single appearance and could be worth more if he can put his production together.
Not off the table for Round 6
MAdelaide Crows
Ankle
April 22, 2021
Berry is dealing with just a slight rolled ankle and will be checked on Friday in regards to his status for Saturday's match versus Hawthorn, SEN SA 1629 reports.
ANALYSIS
Berry was expected to sit out based on a report earlier in the week, but this report from midfield coach Nathan Van Berlo seems to suggest that's not exactly the case. Confirmation of his status for Sunday's clash should surface when the club releases its lineup.
Likely out Round 6
MAdelaide Crows
Ankle
April 21, 2021
Berry suffered an ankle injury at training Thursday and is unlikely to play Round 6 versus Hawthorn, Matt Turner of SuperFooty reports.
ANALYSIS
Berry had to be helped off the field Thursday and isn't expected to be recovered in time for this weekend's contest. Jackson Hately could enter the lineup in his likely absence for Round 6.
