Another solid performance

July 24, 2021
Sharp scored one goal to go with 31 disposals (17 kicks, 14 handballs) and made nine marks during Saturday's 120-71 loss to Brisbane in Round 19.
ANALYSIS
Sharp has been one to watch over the last two games as he's recorded 61 disposals and 19 marks to add another fantasy dimension to a deep Suns midfield. Given that he was able to reproduce last week's efforts in this game, Sharp is probably worth the attention for a little longer if he can keep up his possession numbers

Mark leader in loss to Western
MGold Coast Suns
July 17, 2021
Sharp collected 30 disposals, 10 marks and a pair of tackles Saturday as Gold Coast fell to Western 90-79 at Metricon Stadium.
ANALYSIS
Sharp put up personal-best numbers in Saturday's loss to Western, setting career-highs not only for kicks (24) and disposals, but also marks and rebound 50s (7). That ultimately saw the 19 year-old top 100 fantasy points for the first time in six total AFL appearances and leaves him currently averaging 81.2 points a game since making his season-debut for Gold Coast back in Round 15.
Lands two-year extension
MGold Coast Suns
June 22, 2021
Sharp signed a two-year contract extension with Gold Coast on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Sharp has appeared in just two AFL games in his career, but the 19-year-old's new deal will likely see him grow into a more prominent role in Gold Coast's midfield. He is under contract through 2023.
Off injury list
MGold Coast Suns
August 20, 2020
Sharp (hip) is no longer labeled on the Suns' injury list.
ANALYSIS
Sharp didn't contribute a ton prior to the hip issue, taking part in just one match for the Suns, where he produced nine disposals and a mark. He should be available for selection moving forward but isn't a guaranteed presence in the 22.

Sharp will not take part in Wednesday's match versus Essendon due to a hip complaint, Josh Cheadle of the Suns' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Fortunately, Sharp is expected to be available moving forward, so his absence Wednesday shouldn't carry over much longer. It remains to be seen whether he will be a regular inclusion moving forward after finishing out his first match with just nine disposals and a mark.
