Pectoral
August 17, 2021
Preuss (pectoral) is listed as a test to feature in Round 23 against Carlton.
ANALYSIS
Preuss could get his first chance to play this season after a torn pectoral muscle ruled him out for much of 2021. H would be another welcome addition just in time for the finals.

Facing another extended absence

Shoulder
May 25, 2021
Preuss (shoulder) requires surgery for a torn right pectoral and is expected to be out 3-to-5 months.
ANALYSIS
The 25-year-old underwent surgery on his left shoulder during the offseason and was nearing his return to the field, but he suffered the pectoral injury Tuesday while working out in the gym. Preuss was limited to only three games in 2020 due to an Achilles injury, and he's unlikely to see the field during the regular season this year.

Shoulder
March 4, 2021
Preuss could be out for up to five months due to a shoulder injury, according to Michael Whiting of AFL.com.
ANALYSIS
Preuss could return earlier in the summer but the pickup from Melbourne in the offseason won't be around for the first few months of the campaign. He only played three times last season and will need to get a few under his belt when healthy to prove his usefulness for fantasy.
Set for practice match
RMelbourne Demons
June 30, 2020
Preuss (Achilles) will take part in the Demons' scratch match this week in his first action since sustaining the injury.
ANALYSIS
Preuss hasn't played yet in 2020 but averaged 19.1 hitouts, 9.4 disposals and 2.1 marks per contest last season in seven appearances with the Demons. Assuming he avoids setbacks in the practice matches, he should be available for selection in the coming weeks.

Achilles
June 9, 2020
Preuss is considered 4-to-5 weeks away from retaking the field following an Achilles injury.
ANALYSIS
Preuss isn't a major contributor for the Demons even when healthy, appearing in just seven games for the club last season. More information on his return should surface as Preuss progresses to some work in training sessions.
