Cox (hamstring) could return before the end of the season, according to GM Peter Bell. "We just want to keep our options open and Brennan is pressuring everyone to try and get back in time to play some more footy this season, so we've left that door open."
ANALYSIS
Cox hasn't played since early-June and his chances to return may be more dependent on Freo sticking in the finals than anything else.

ANALYSIS
Cox may not miss more than a single match but until scans are done, confidence in his his fitness isn't high based on the reports from his coach. With 11.8 disposals per game this season, his fantasy value isn't exactly the highest either.

Cox had to be subbed out in the final quarter of Saturday's 99-48 win over North Melbourne due to an ankle injury, AFL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
While skipper Justin Longmuir stated Cox's ankle injury "doesn't look serious at this stage," he noted team doctors would "have to get [the ankle] scanned and see how it pulls up" before determining his status for Round Seven's RAC Derby. The 22 year-old defender had collected 12 disposals, three marks and a clearance and clanger each before departing Saturday's contest.
