Suspension over
MPort Adelaide Power
July 21, 2020
Ebert has served his one-match ban for rough conduct against GWS in Round 6.
Ebert will thus be available for selection again this week and should be back in the Power's starting lineup. He is looking to bounce back from a rather disappointing showing against the Giants, where he posted just one mark and 11 disposals, both season-low outputs.
Facing one-match ban
MPort Adelaide Power
July 13, 2020
Ebert was offered a one-match suspension for engaging in rough conduct Sunday in Port Adelaide's 63-46 win over Greater Western Sydney, Matt Sampson of the Power's official site reports.
Unless the 30-year-old decides to appeal the ban, he'll be unavailable for selection in this weekend's Round 7 matchup with Carlton. Ebert tallied 11 disposals, four tackles and one mark in the victory over Greater Western Sydney.
Placed on report Sunday
MPort Adelaide Power
July 13, 2020
Ebert contributed 11 disposals (six kicks, five handballs), four tackles, one mark and one behind in Sunday's 63-46 victory over the Giants.
Ebert was placed on report after a nasty altercation with Harry Perryman, an incident that incited both teams into a small scuffle. Both teams appeared somewhat rattled as they struggled with their offensive structures throughout the opening term. Once things settled down, it was the Power who managed to find their rhythm, running away with a 17 point victory. Ebert, who now safely falls into the veteran category, struggled with his own production but should be better moving forward.
Two majors in 250th game
MPort Adelaide Power
June 27, 2020
Ebert managed 16 disposals (13 kicks, three handballs), five tackles, four marks and two goals in Saturday's 89-41 victory over the Eagles.
Playing against his former club, Ebert was fantastic for the Power, kicking two goals in the demolition. Also playing in his 250th AFL game, Ebert was able to switch off late with the game never really in doubt. The Power remain atop the ladder and are unbeaten to begin the season.
