Best performance of season in draw
DGreater Western Sydney Giants
June 13, 2021
Haynes logged 26 disposals (16 kicks, 10 handballs) and made 14 marks during Sunday's 94-all draw with North Melbourne in Round 13.
ANALYSIS
Haynes hadn't previously scored more than 78 fantasy points in a game, though he may be on the right track after putting that result up in Round 12 and taking 31 marks total over the last three games. If he can keep up the pace, Haynes can compete with Lachie Ash and Isaac Cumming as the most-valuable Giants defenders for fantasy.

May 20, 2021
Haynes (hamstring) will return to the lineup for Sunday's clash with the Eagles.
ANALYSIS
It was announced last week that Haynes was expected to make his return in Round 10 and it appears he will do just that, marking his first appearance in a month. Through six games, the defender has posted solid numbers, notching 15.7 disposals and 4.2 marks, which increase in a big way when you remove the injury-shortened outing versus the Bulldogs.

May 11, 2021
Haynes (hamstring) is a week away from returning, per the Giants' medical report.
ANALYSIS
Haynes should have no problems taking his name off the injury list by next week if he's made it this far in his recovery. In fantasy, he's logged at least 18 disposals in each of his healthy appearances but never scored more than 73 fantasy points.

April 27, 2021
Haynes (hamstring) is expected to miss between two and four weeks, according to Head of Medical Cullan Ball. "(Haynes has) just got a hamstring strain, we expect that he'll miss likely to be a couple of weeks."
ANALYSIS
Haynes pulled up early into the Round 6 loss to the Western Bulldogs and will be out for a couple of weeks at the least. While he has yet to put up huge numbers, his 14.5 disposals and 5 marked per match are a useful benchmark for what a defender can do.

April 23, 2021
Haynes suffered a hamstring injury during Friday's Round 6 loss to Western Bulldogs, according to Martin Pegan of AFL.com.
ANALYSIS
Haynes had recorded at least 18 disposals in the first five rounds of the season but didn't last long into Friday's match. Depending on how serious the injury is, Haynes could be out as little as two weeks or as much as two months.
